On a peninsula at the entrance to a yacht port in Puławy stands a seven-meter-high tower. From its top a stunning vista of Wisła can be admired. On sandy islets among riverine vegetation all manner of fowl living in the vistulan moorlands can be seen. The vistulan boulevard spans from the marina to John Paul II Bridge, which is the biggest arch bridge in Poland. At the end of the boulevard is a stream gauge, that is, a column with marks indicating the level of the river throughout its history.
